A meal on the town that won’t break the bank
The economy has definitely taken its toll on area restaurants. In updating this listing, we learned of a number of eateries that have either reduced or eliminated their kids eat free offers. A handful, including two corporate Perkins restaurants, have closed altogether.
That being said, there are still quite a few establishments offering free meals or great deals for feeding children under 12. We hope this will give you reason to enjoy a family meal together.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream (7938 Winchester Road) • Babies and toddlers receive a scoop of ice cream free daily.
IHOP (all locations) • Kids 12 and under eat free everyday from 4-10 p.m. One free kid’s meal per one adult meal.
Piccadilly Cafeteria (all locations) Kids eat for $.99 every day 4 p.m. Two $.99 kids’ meals per one adult meal.
Texas de Brazil (150 Peabody Place, 526-7600) • Ages 6-12 are 50 percent off, ages 3-5 are $5, under 2 eat free.
