Your Teen Can Learn About Panama

Through a study abroad program with Memphis in May

Memphis in May is currently accepting applications for high school students interested in traveling to Panama, the honored country for 2014. In preparation for the trip, students will participate in orientation sessions leading up to their departure, learning about Panama’s currency exchange, cuisine, climate, language, and customs. Students will be selected based on their grade point average, school/community involvement, and ability to communicate successfully through both spoken and written word.

Who: High school juniors and seniors residing in Shelby County

What: Study abroad

When: Spring 2014, spending 10 to 12 days in host country

Where: Panama
