As part of Le Bonheur Children’s division of Community Health and Well-Being, LEAD promotes the optimal development of children aged birth to 3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays. LEAD provides a family-centered, trans-disciplinary approach to early intervention in each child’s natural environment. Services include developmental assessments, special instruction, family training, physical and occupational therapy, speech and oral motor therapy, assistive technology assessments, sensory integration therapy, and behavior analysis. LEAD also offers Inclusion Support Services to facilitate full inclusion of children with special needs into partnering community childcare centers.
