Out on a Limb – Memphis Area Limb Loss Support (OOAL), is a community-wide support program providing information and support for children, adults and families touched by the loss of a limb. OOAL houses the Memphis Amputee Support Library and, as an affiliate support group of the Amputee Coalition of America (ACA), arranges for ACA Certified Peer Visitors to meet with recent amputees or with people facing amputation surgery.
